Information

I hope you enjoy looking at my fimo (polymer clay) cake toppers, but before you do, here's a little about me.

My name is Marie, I am married to Alan and have a daughter named Alice who is at secondary school. I come from a cake making background. Growing up I always made cakes with my mum who is a great cook. Later on in life, still having a passion for cake making, I decided to take things a step further and started a small business making and decorating cakes.
I did this for about ten years, but it always upset me when the models I made to go on top of the cakes, got thrown away after all the hours I had spent making them.

One day I was visiting a friend who was making jewelery out of fimo. She explained to me that fimo could also be used to make my cake toppers as, although it can't be eaten, it is food safe; that way people could use the toppers again and again or have them as a keepsake or ornament. This is where my new business began. I gave up making the cakes and now I just make these fun toppers, which was always the part I enjoyed the most.
So now I am one of the lucky ones as I love my work. I hope you love my work too...
